Designated Neighbourhood School
Is North Melbourne Primary School Your Designated Neighbourhood School?
The designated neighbourhood school is the school that is nearest to the student’s permanent residence. All Melbourne schools have a designated local neighbourhood area and the Department of Education requires that schools allocate places to students permanently residing within that area. If you do not permanently reside within the school’s designated neighbourhood area we are unable to accept your application for enrolment.
The Department of Education School Policy Advisory Guide has determined that the nearest school is measured by a straight line from a student’s permanent residence to the school.
Please refer to http://melbourneschoolzones.com/schools/north-melbourne-primary-school for indicative designated neighbourhood areas.
Please note your address will still need to be verified by the school.
