This term students will explore how spreadsheets can be used to store, interpret and visualise data. This addresses the Victorian Curriculum learning statement:
“Data and Information – Acquire, store and validate different types of data and use a range of software to interpret and visualise data to create information.”
For this investigation, students will use the productivity app “Numbers”, however the skills they learn can be applied to any spreadsheet software including Excel and Google Sheets.
Through a series of engaging tasks, students will learn how to: Create tables; Add, remove & resize rows and columns; fill cells; format text; create graphs; use common spreadsheet formula.
