No Hats! by Inez, Year 6 Newsletter Writer

As winter rolls in we can take of are hats and stuff them in the back of our closets. For the next four months we will be hat free. We are free of our hats, but we still have to look out for UV rays.

So stay safe in the sun and enjoy your hat free time.

Parents & Friends Committee - Mothers' Day Stall

The Parents and Friends committee are once again running a the annual Mother's Day stall on Wednesday 10th, Thursday 11th, and Friday 12th May.
The stall is a wonderful tradition at NMPS, giving the students a chance to purchase a present of their own choosing for their mother, grandmother or other significant carer in their life. The items available are all under $10 and there will be a range of choices for them from hand made items to locally supplied products.
We have lots of stock this year to meet the demands of our generous NMPS students with all of the proceeds of the sale going to support projects within the school such as the Stephanie Alexandra Kitchen Garden.
To help us out, it would be great if you could remind your children of the stall and send them to school on their allocated day with money for making a special purchase.

Wednesday 10th

Years 5 + 6

Thursday 11th

Years 2, 3 + 4

Friday  12th

Foundation + 1

We also need some more parents to help out on the stall during the day. This job involves selling stock, assisting the kids as they make choices, restocking items etc. Shifts are broken up into morning, middle of the day and afternoon and run for about 2 hours. If you can help out, email me at this address with your preferred time and your mobile number.

At this point, it is optional and geared towards grade 3s, though grades 1 and 2s are welcome also. Feedback is welcome on the email address below
